What People Say

Hidden Library

Introduction

We are pleased to offer to those of you who are interested in Optimal Nutrition and in general knowledge of human nutrition this important resource, which we have chosen to name the ‘Hidden Library’.

We consider this title to be appropriate because most of the books we will be placing here have been either disregarded by the present-day publishers/book stores or have been out of print for a considerable period of time and therefore have been totally forgotten.

The ones provided here in full for a free download have been obtained freely on the Internet and therefore are considered to be no longer copyright-protected. However, those recently published can only be obtained from specific sources to which links are provided. For these you will have to pay.

Whilst some of the works compiled here might be considered in general not to be supportive of the ON concept, or not in their entirety, they nevertheless provide a wealth of important information, which if “digested” carefully will in fact be surprisingly aligned with some, if not the most, concepts proposed by Jan Kwaśniewski, the creator of ON.

Most of those who read Kwasniewski’s books either in Polish or in English, are very “disappointed” that majority of his authoritative statements and recommendations are not supported by published, peer-reviewed research. However, a selective and inquisitive reader will be able to find those “missing” references in many of the texts recommended here. It is expected that the selection of books provided on this site will be continually updated and enlarged as “new” come to hand. In fact we would encourage anyone who has access to a book which could be considered appropriate for this page to contact us by e-mail ahoa@webone.com.au

Pleasant reading!
